West Ham United could face a big problem this summer with Chelsea now allegedly in the race to sign Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic.
The 23-year-old defender should be someone the Hammers are all over this summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio recently claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the Serbia international to the London Stadium.
He will cost just £21.7 million this summer as well according to Calcio Mercato.
The problem for West Ham is that Chelsea want him now as well. That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is allegedly keen to bolster his central defensive ranks at Stamford Bridge and Milenkovic has caught his eye.

The Hammers losing out on the powerful Serbian defender to our bitter London rivals would be an incredibly tough blow to stomach.
Whilst the 23-year-old is still far from the finished article, he certainly has the potential to go on and become one of the game’s best centre-backs.
In 27 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina this season, the Serbian has scored three goals and registered one assist.
In those outings, he has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 3.3 clearances and 0.9 blocks per match. The 23-year-old has won an average of 3.4 aerial duals per game and has an 85.8% pass completion rate from an average of 51.2 passes per match (Who Scored).
Milenkovic is strong in the air, reads the game well and is comfortable with the ball at his feet.
West Ham should be doing absolutely everything to sign the Fiorentina ace this summer.
Chelsea allegedly chasing his signature will cause a big problem for the Hammers, however.
Much may depend on which club finish in the Champions League spots this season.
Chelsea still have a far greater pull than West Ham, however. And it seems as though we could miss out to the Blues on a quite brilliant player this summer.
