Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic allegedly has an agreement in place to join Chelsea, according to sources in the Italian press today.
Journalist Sandro Sabatini broke the story on Sport Mediaset, saying that the 33-year-old is now ready to finalize a move to Stamford Bridge. Sabatini was the one who revealed the information.

“Chelsea have an agreement with Perisic that has already been formalised: there are no medical examinations or specifications, but it would be a huge scenario if Perisic did not join Chelsea.” “The news of the day is that Perisic is really close to signing with Chelsea,” Sabatini said (via Calciomercato.it).
Chelsea does not need to strike an agreement with Inter Milan to sign Ivan Perisic since his current contract with the Nerazzurri is expected to expire this summer.
The winger produced nine goals and eight assists to the squad throughout this season’s Serie A campaign.
Since he had been linked with a move to Juventus, joining the Blues would prevent him from committing this ‘betrayal,’ which would see him join their league rivals.
Perisic has been linked with a move to the Premier League for years, but it seemed that English clubs would never be able to match Inter’s asking price for his talents.
Chelsea seems to be making a rushed push to sign him as quickly as possible now that they have the ability to do so without paying a price.
