Fali Ramadani, Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent, has been cited as claiming that he is “pushing for Chelsea and Barcelona” to get his client out of Napoli this summer.
According to Area Napoli, the defender wants to win a title outside of Italy and is considering a move to either England or Spain to achieve this ambition.
According to them, the agency is “not giving up” and plans to take Koulibaly from Napoli this summer in order to sign him with another team.

As a consequence, he has been “marketing” his client to a number of potential suitors, including Chelsea, which needs to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer.
His logic is that Koulibaly, as one of Europe’s top central defenders, deserves to play for one of the continent’s best teams. This gives a chance for him since Chelsea is in need of defenders.
Koulibaly is willing to go up from Napoli, but he wants a three- or four-year contract at close to €7 million each year. These are figures that the Italian squad will be unable to equal. In reality, they seek to reduce his pay and distribute it over a longer period of time.
After a trophy-less career so far, Koulibaly’s top priority is to win a title on the international stage.
Napoli’s general manager Aurelio De Laurentiis is aware that the player’s current deal has one year left on it, and that this summer may be his last chance to “monetize” him.
The defender is available for a deal for no more than €35 million, as Ramadani has said, and Ramadani is working hard to secure possible bidders. It’s unclear what Napoli believes about that specific figure.
Given that Barcelona’s financial condition is much more fragile than Chelsea’s, the Blues would be in a better position to gain from Ramadani’s offer if they accept it.
