Armando Broja, Southampton’s Premier League top scorer this season, will come as no surprise to Chelsea supporters who have watched our junior teams in recent years.
Broja has been a standout performer for Chelsea this season, and he has a bright future ahead of him, ideally with the club.
Southampton, on the other hand, is keen to sign the striker on a long-term contract.
Chelsea wants him to stay at the club, but Southampton’s owners want to sign him, according to TSS.
Of course, the ball is in Chelsea’s court, but he did indicate that they would have first refusal if they did sell him.
“Chelsea want him [Broja] to stay,” said TSS.
“But if they did let him go to Southampton in this window, they will include a first refusal option on him, the Southampton owners want him on a permanent deal.”
