Chelsea have already ensured their place in the Champions League last-16 following their thumping win against Juventus.
The Blues will of course be delighted to have progressed to the next stage but it adds further fixtures to what is already set to be an extremely hectic schedule after the New Year.
One remedy for Chelsea could be to potentially add to their squad in the January transfer window and a number of players have already been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge.
With that being said, football.london takes a look at the latest transfer rumours coming out of west London with the winter window just over a month away:
According to reports in Italy, the Blues are preparing to put together a considerable bid for Juventus forward Federico Chiesa as they aim to bolster their attack.
Chelsea were previously linked with the Italian throughout the summer but a move failed to come to fruition.
As per the suggestions, the Blues are contemplating submitting an £84million offer for his services as they attempt to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
After being linked with moves to both Liverpool and Genoa in recent weeks, Chelsea have reportedly decided how much they are set to demand for American winger Christian Pulisic.
According to suggestions, they would be happy to see him depart the club for £42million – some way below the £58million they had to pay to sign him from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019.
It remains to be seen whether the Blues receive satisfactory offers for Pulisic but it is interesting to note that they have a price in mind just in case.
According to reports in Brazil, an announcement on Thiago Silva’s new Chelsea deal is ‘imminent’.
The former AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain veteran sees his current contract at Stamford Bridge expire at the end of the campaign and has been linked with a return to his homeland with Fluminense.
However, it now appears that he has committed his immediate future to the Blues with a reported one-year deal.
