“No thank you” – Former Chelsea boss aims dig at Tottenham

As we attempt to keep up to date with the latest transfer news, there is also the ongoing saga of the crazy managerial merry-go-round of the last few weeks.

There have been many movements and rumours surrounding managers making their next moves and leaving their current roles.

One manager-less team still is our close London rivals, Tottenham. And it was our former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte who was heavily linked with taking the reigns, until it all fell apart over the weekend.

It looked destined to happen, but I must admit I never thought it would, it just seemed like a real mis-match. Conte and Spurs board would just never get on, and it looks like that is the exact reason things broke down.

Conte has spoken out about what he looks for in a project, and as reported by Fabrizio Romano, it appears this was directed at his talks with Tottenham with him using the #THFC!

Once a blue!

Antonio Conte to Gazzetta dello Sport: “Money is not my obsession. I look at projects and I’m ready to stay at home if they don’t convince me. I like difficult challenges but if there is something with a club that does not convince me, I prefer to say: no, thank you”. ⚪️ #THFC
