Guardiola’s side may have already been crowned Premier League champions when Chelsea make the trip to the Etihad Stadium on May 8. But that will not make the fixture any easier.

Since the start of the year, City have been almost faultless – the only defeat they have suffered in 2021 came against Manchester United in the derby earlier this month.

Even if City aren’t in top gear when they take on the Blues, the sheer depth of quality at Guardiola’s disposal means this will undoubtedly be Chelsea’s hardest fixture in the race to secure Champions League football for next season.
